Office:

Even before college, Brett has had an intense interest in financial markets and the securities that trade in them. Engaging this passion for markets, Brett has worked since 1986 assisting wealthy families, individual investors, and non-profit institutions to achieve their financial objectives successfully. As a student of all things finance, he has taken his keen interest in the markets, along with nine years of adjunct teaching experience at local universities, and worked to provide educational material and programs to his clients and their families, especially post-collegiate children and grandchildren as they work to develop an understanding of important financial and economic concepts.

As the President of Alpine Private Wealth, Brett leads the firm’s strategic direction, working closely with the Alpine team to ensure clients are well served with the best tools and technology and by top financial professionals. Brett honed his skills while serving clients at several prominent firms including U.S. Trust, TIAA-CREF, and Boatmen’s Trust Company. Before starting his professional career, Brett earned his BSBA with a double major in accounting and finance and later an MBA, both from Saint Louis University. To further enhance his knowledge base and ability to serve investors, he returned to his studies earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designations.

Active in the community, Brett has served in numerous leadership positions at non-profit entities in the past 25 years and currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Advisory Board for the Chaifetz School of Business at Saint Louis University, Chairman of the Daughters of Charity Foundation, member of the Committee for Trustees at De Smet Jesuit, and member of the Community Engagement Committee for Villa Duchesne Oak Hill School. He and his family are frequently involved in other service work throughout the St. Louis community.
